If only there was more to do and a bit harder…
Paper Wars: Cannon Fodder Devastated – Nintendo Switch – Released: 3/1/18 – $9.99
Short Review (Review copy provided by iFun4all)
This one doesn’t really need a short review so read on.
The icon is a bit boring and doesn’t have the title:
Story
There really isn’t a story but there are three campaigns, one that’s just normal, the second one involving I believe the cold war due to being all in winter, and the last one is a zombie attack.
Gameplay
The gameplay is simple you launch missiles while enemies come from the right side of the screen. If enough enemies make it to the left side of the screen you game over. You will be able to collect power ups that slow down enemies, denote another blast in that area, or an air strike.
Personal Experience
While this game looks like fun on paper… it is too easy. I found myself never dying so stages were a mindless press button wait until full power, let go, blast and repeat. This was for about 5 hours and it got boring rather quickly. I wish this game was a bit harder or if you had an area to protect with something in the middle. As it stands the game is more than enough for someone to keep playing but would you want to finish to the end is the question.
Final Thoughts
Sadly I thought I would enjoy this game. The trailer is funny and seems like it would be a great time. I would have to give this a hard pass unless you really want something mindless that will keep you busy for a long time. I would give this game a 3 out of 10. While it is interesting at its core, I wish it was harder and more varied with different weapons.

End Credits
Man I wish I enjoyed this game more. It is fun at the start but quickly is painful to continue. I would play a round or two between other games but never once I wanted to play for a long period of time. This was another game that the review was completed before I went away so check out my next review tomorrow!
