Story

Simple story for a simple time period, the President has been kidnapped and it is the job of the “Bad Dudes” to get him back.

Gameplay

It is a fairly standard beat em up for the time period but it does have some odd issues. When enemies are really close to you, you will not be able to attack them. So if you are stacked with an enemy you need to jump out or move until they are no longer on top of you. At the same time they can’t attack you but it is a pain to have multiple enemies and only take out a few then get cheap shots from the others. The bosses on the other hand can be really easy or really difficult randomly. I found that some I was able to beat without losing a life in the later stages but some stages I would die multiple times.

Personal Experience

I really enjoyed this game and while it did have some issues. I could easily see myself playing this game in an arcade. I only remember playing this once as a child and never again. I don’t think I’ve run into an cabinet of it since then. I typically go to several barcades throughout the year and never ran into it but it may be due to not being as popular as other games.

Final Thoughts

I would say if you are a fan of old beat em up and can deal with some silly issues. Go for it! I would give this game an 8 out of 10, solid game with excellent stages, great two player mode but sometimes can be tough to deal with too many enemies and bosses are sometimes a joke.

Not much to say this week to be honest been pretty busy and can’t wait for next week. I have a day off and a half day at work so trying to sleep in more. I’ve been having a pretty rough time at home with an old friend so been depressed so sorry for all these shorter reviews. I haven’t been up to play longer games and I’m in the process of trying to afford a house so selling the bulk of my stuff.
